I am back in New Hampshire for a little country and mountain time after a crazy New York Fashion Week. This Friday I am heading back to NYC and am looking forward to all the happenings in the week that lies ahead. In the meantime I spent some time in one of my favorite New England towns…Wolfeboro. Incorporated in 1770 and nestled on the shores of Lake Winnipesaukee, this pretty town is peaceful this time of year now that all the summer visitors and second homers have gone back to the city.

Today I am wearing the Chicwish Sunshine Vibe dress. Goodness knows I love a little off the shoulder, so I am taking that trend as far into the fall months as I can. Embroidery on the sleeves and along the slits showcases the unique colors and textures that are a signature of Chicwish. I paired the dress with my red Sam Edelman booties and a vintage bolero. I love how the two primary shades of royal blue and red complement each other perfectly and work together to make a dynamic statement.
Rhapsody is defined as “an effusively enthusiastic or ecstatic expression of feeling.” It is synonymous with exhilaration, elatedness, being on cloud nine…a very appropriate word for me to use right now.
