Today, a slight change of direction for me: wearing black and white. I live in technicolor and will never lose my penchant for bold hues. But a sharp punch of ivory and ebony is a great way to mx things up. Wearing black and white can have just as much scope for adventure and personal interpretation as wearing color.

It has been said that black traps space while white opens it. Black is sophisticated. White is innocent. The colors are quintessentially opposite in a visual and cultural sense, but they do not compete. In fact, they complete each other: contrast creates completion….opposites attract.
I say wearing black and white should be about having fun and redefining expectations. The boldest route is to play up the clean graphics of the two hues with cut outs and linear shapes, such as is the case with this Chicwish dress I’m wearing.
