Outfit Details:
Sweet Wanderer top (similar here), Express skirt (old, similar here), Steve Madden sandals (close to this pair), Vintage bag (I like this one, which also comes in a pop of orange), Handmade earrings (the ones by Rebecca De Ravenel are amazing)
Summer is in full swing! No matter what the season, I’m the person who is always cold. I only make it through winter by utilizing lots of layers! So when summer comes along, I don’t mind a little heat wave. It gives me the perfect opportunity to wear a breezy outfit.
I’ve been loving the Rebecca De Ravenel earrings for a while now (affordable version here). On the spur of the moment, I made the ones I’m wearing today from beads I had bought. So don’t overlook the possibility of DIY!
I love off the shoulder tops and dresses. Since the weather has warmed up, I’ve worn them a lot. They instantly add a feminine, romantic element to an outfit – especially when they have a few ruffles. I love this top, similar to the one I’m wearing today, which I could transition for night by switching out my sandals for these rainbow Sophia Webster heels and this Cult Gaia bag. Here are a few other of my current favorite off the shoulder tops and dresses: classic blues, preppy with a cutout, asymmetric ruffle, gingham one shoulder, broderie lace, lots of volume, little denim number perfect for wandering, floaty with a subtle print, sun-kissed midi, stripy shirtdress.
