My recent trip to Vermont was a whirlwind. There are some aspects of it that I will always remember for their perfect timing and special memories. One thing I will retain is the picture-perfect winter weather while I was there. While it may not be everyone’s cup of tea (and I do get it – I love warm weather too!), there is something magical about snow. Just as we were to shoot this look, a squall came up and snowflakes began to fall and blow around. That combined with the snowmaking guns of Killington Mountain blasting in the background made for a dreamlike moment. Just right for a snow leopard!
If you know me at all, you know I love color and I love mixing colors – and leopard constitutes a color right?! Here I am pairing two separate but similar leopard prints. Of all the animal prints that have found themselves turned into fabrics, leopard is my favorite. It mixes well but can also be jazzed up by playing it off certain colors. I chose to wear a hunter green loden coat and my Philosophy blazer layered over a wool sweater (sensing a pattern here…it was cold!). My boots add a touch of blue and – just because I could not resist – I added a pair of red socks. Once a color lover, always a color lover…
