Outfit Details:
Choices Faux Fur Coat (so affordable! Also love this one, and this longer polka dot one makes me smile), Hollister Patch Jeans (similar here), Lodenfrey Blazer (try this Veronica Beard Army Blazer), J. Crew Embellished Sweatshirt (here’s a close substitute), SnoSkins Velvet Turtleneck (I like this one), Soho High Tops (similar here, and this studded pair is amazing), Tory Burch Crossbody Bag (old, here’s a cool version), Faux Fur Bag Charm (like this one, or Fendi’s bag bug), Banana Republic Belt (like this one by Mikael Kors), Heidi Daus Guardian Fu Dog Ring (sold out, but here are some others to try), Aeropostale Sunglasses (similar style, would also go with this dramatic Miu Miu pair)
When it comes to fur, the more whimsical the better. The options now with faux fur are amazing and, in my opinion, better than the real ones. Fur can push the envelope and send an outfit in a unique direction. There is just something about the furriness, whether it be high volume or sleek. This particular coat has just the right proportion (slightly cropped and not overwhelming like some fur coats can be), and the fuzzy look was made to be paired with denim. A fur pom pom, a Fu Dog ring, add to the cheekiness of it all. Bottom line: always have something (or a few things) in your wardrobe that make you smile.
These gold high tops caught me as soon as I saw them. Fittingly, sneakers are having a moment. All the better for running towards the mesmerizing colors in the candy shop instead of clacking in my heels.
